Goldfinch is a vibrant Chinese restaurant tucked into a back courtyard off Kongens Nytorv, serving nostalgic Cantonese food in a modern atmosphere built for sharing. The kitchen is led by Will King-Smith, former head chef at Geranium, and the menu pulls from his own childhood memories of Cantonese food as well as his professional work as a chef. Dumplings, scallop toast, char siu, sweet and sour pork, salt and pepper chicken wings, the almighty Peking Duck, and Hong Kong-style French toast for dessert. Lazy Susans on the tables make the perfect social dining feel. The room itself is a signature warm red and burgundy – bar stools, tiles, panelled walls. An award winning cocktail bar that runs walk-in and late night Fridays and Saturdays.
